Description
The conveyors were originally designed and manufactured by Challenger handling in circa 2021 to the following outline specification:
- Heavy duty mild steel casing and auger assembly.
- Each auger assembly is made up with a 60.3mm diameter centre tube fitted with 210mm diameter x 210mm pitch x 6mm thick mild steel flights.
- Auger assemblies are fitted with mild steel stub shafts supported between 50mm diameter 4-hole flanged bearing assemblies.
- Internal conveyor width is 470mm nominal.
- Operating conveyor length is 2250mm nominal.
- Each conveyor is powered by two 2.2Kw shaft mounted geared motor units.
