Find Out MoreSince 1995, Challenger Handling Ltd brand has expanded significantly, from the conveyor design and manufacturing division they once were, to the expert division they are today. Over the years the range of products has developed, with the introduction of Challenger baling equipment, hydraulic crushers, and compactors in the late 1990s, utilising the hydraulic products and experience of the Challenger Hydraulics division.
In 2007, they acquired Drum Technology Limited and its personnel. This saw the introduction of drum and IBC reconditioning equipment. In 2012, Challenger Handling Limited became the sole distributor in the UK and Europe for SSI Shredding Systems. This has paved the way for developing the shredder service, maintenance and re-build facility, providing an excellent addition to the existing manufacturing workshop. And, the introduction of shredding equipment provided allowed for the development of medical waste treatment facilities, introduced in 2016.
